Minimize Distractions Caused by Technology
- Multi-tasking is a misnomer. People are engaged in "continuous partial attention" when utilizing technology.
- Technology provides too many distractors to learning.
- Students are using technology with very little limitation.

Selective Attention
Count the number of times the kids in the white shirts pass and catch the ball. Please pay careful attention to each pass/catch.
Bottom Line
The bottom line is that technology isn't going anywhere. Therefore, it is important that we create dynamic lessons utilizing technology, limit the possible distractions caused by technology, and try to minimize the damage inflicted by the use of too much technology.
